Busy week of matches and great win for the under 13 team.

A mixed week but plenty of cricket played across the club with a total of 10 games completed.
On Saturday the 1st team were at home to last seasons Thurlow Nunn East Anglian Premier League winners Swardeston the visitors won the toss and asked Bury to bat on a pitch where runs proved difficult all day. Bury went from 35 for the 1st wicket to 63.5 openers Alex Maynard and Nikethan Radhakrishan both scored 20 it was left to Max and Ben Whittaker to battle hard with a partnership of 41 runs Max was out for 23 and Ben 28 a feature of a good bowling and fielding display by the visitors was Lewis Denmark’s superb catch off Alex Levinson to dismiss Alistair Allchin. The final total of 135 was below par and short of what was required. Levinson taking 6.50. Swardeston had to battle for the win losing 6 wickets in the process Rufus Easdale taking 2.34 it was Denmark who opened and scored 23 not out off 81 deliveries that showed the way, it was a pitch that the ball was difficult to time several wickets being out being caught.
