Dear Everyone,
I am afraid you cannot enter the Victory Ground from the normal route from the hospital direction the only way is by travelling down the A134 and turning off at the Nowton/Hawstead turning and then turn right at Nowton Village Hall and travel past Nowton Park before reaching the ground. Please take care as this is a very narrow road and the turning off the A 143 is hazardous.
The signage is pretty well non-existent, but the road is fully closed between the school and sports hall and entry exit is only available from the Nowton direction.
We were assured there would only be minimal disturbance and entry to the ground would be available at all times this is not the case it involves a 3 mile diversion down the A143 and entry via Nowton.
I will keep you posted and place what I can on the website and advise Swardeston and Tuddenham regarding Saturday so please could all captains advise players through their respective chat groups.
We will try to avoid a nightmare getting worse.
The road is due to reopen in about 10 days.
