Bury St Edmunds hosted Cambridge on Saturday it was again one of those damp overcast days when winning the toss gives an advantage, last week stand in captain Ben Seabrook won the toss and asked Mildenhall to bat and made the most of the conditions this week the roles were reversed Bury lost the toss and batted losing Alfie Marston in the first over, Justin Broad received a very good delivery and was out for 4 with the score on 16, Max Whittaker battled for 12 but apart from Ben Seabrook who made a good 35 (5 x 4) from 52 deliveries and Ben Curran who was 9th out for 13 no Bury batsman made enough runs, for some this was their first EAPL innings of the season but being all out for 111 was a big disappointment, Kieren Mackenzie taking 5 wickets.
In reply the sun had appeared and Cambridge were able to score the required runs for the loss of two wickets Daniel Moriarty and Josh Cantrell taking a wicket each.
