Bury 2nd team won the toss and elected to bat against Brockley, the game was shortened to 40/40 due to a late start. With Two early wickets for Brockley ensured Hugh Stanton had to stand firm steadying the innings with a good partnership with Ben Whittaker (64) before falling to a good catch by Ex Bury stalwart Mark Geeves. Thanks to the strong hitting of Ross Van Reeken (32) and Sam Harrison the home side reached 205-5, Hugh Stanton remained on an excellent 87not out.
Brockley needed to get off to a quick start but with tight bowling from Alex Malcom this did not happen. Brockley then had to score fast against the Bury attack. Charlie Cook got his tail up after getting 2 wickets in a row. Alex McCaffrey attacked the Bury bowlers with a strong intent before falling to Ben Whittaker. Stanton picked up the wicket of Huffer (42) Ross Van Reeken bowled well with pace restricting the away side to 135-9. Leaving Bury as winners.
